Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of TasteSync. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the app.

01Who can use TasteSync

You must be at least 13, or older where your local law requires it, and you must not have been previously removed from TasteSync. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

02Zero tolerance for objectionable content

TasteSync has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You may not use TasteSync to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, to post sexual content involving minors, to post hate speech or incitements to violence, to spam or solicit, or to share content you have no right to share.

Every Room and message carries a report control, and you can block any account. We review reports and remove content and accounts that break this clause, without notice and at our discretion.

03What you write

Your Scripts, your Guestbook entries, your bio, and your messages are yours. You keep ownership of them. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them to the people you intended to show them to.

We do not generate words on your behalf and present them as yours. What appears in your Room as your writing is your writing.

04Your taste data

Connecting a service is your choice and is revocable. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any service you connect. Those services are not affiliated with TasteSync and may change or withdraw access at any time, which may empty parts of your Room through no act of ours.

05What TasteSync is not

TasteSync helps you find people whose taste overlaps with yours. It does not vet, verify, or background-check anyone. Any decision to meet, message, or trust another person is entirely your own, and you should exercise the same care you would with any stranger.

06Availability

TasteSync is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

07Ending it

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, in particular clause 2.

08Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use TasteSync after that means you accept the updated terms.
